Our approach to Pastoral Care

St Augustine’s Primary School has a special responsibility for the wellbeing of all students. Pastoral care encompasses actions taken to promote and enhance personal, social, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well being. It is the unifying focus of Catholic education and an authentic expression of the vision and mission of the school.

St  Augustine’s school is guided by the following 11 Principles that underpin and permeate an agreed understanding of Pastoral Care that enhances the wellbeing of all persons involved in Catholic education within the Diocese of Lismore.
